Why We Built This Site
Clare County's trial courts share a Harrison courthouse, but they do not share one all-purpose public docket counter. A traffic case normally begins with the 80th District Court, a larger civil matter can belong in the 55th Circuit Court, and an estate or guardianship belongs with Probate District 17. Public case results also differ from the clerk's register of actions and from a certified copy. The purpose here is to make those routes plain and keep the official office, portal, and request process distinct.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: how criminal court dockets and civil court dockets are searched and read in Clare County.
- Dates and settings: how to use the court schedule and then confirm a hearing with the responsible court office.
- Public lookup: how to run a docket search by name or case number in the statewide system.
- Record requests: how court case records, registers of actions, copies, and certifications reach the proper clerk.
What We Cannot Do
Clare County Court Docket is a privately run reference site. It does not maintain a court file, and it has no connection to a Michigan court, clerk, or agency. The following work stays with the responsible official office:
- The 55th Circuit Court and County Clerk handle circuit registers and circuit-file requests.
- The 80th District Court maintains its criminal, traffic, civil-infraction, civil, small-claims, and summary-proceeding matters.
- Probate District 17 handles its probate and family-court records through the Harrison courthouse office.
- MiCOURT is informational and does not replace the official court record.
Only the court or clerk that maintains the case can confirm a current setting or provide an official, certified, or complete record.
Search Partners
Some content pages include a search box supplied by a third-party provider. That provider controls its own service, pricing, results, and privacy practices. Use the official Clare County offices and Michigan Judiciary services when an official court answer or document is needed.
